Adherence to the Uniform Policy

Our daycare and preschool are committed to fostering a sense of unity and equality among all the children we serve. Our uniform policy is essential in reinforcing the sense of community and shared purpose central to our philosophy.

Uniforms also serve a practical function, allowing our staff to quickly identify children who belong to our center, contributing to the safety and security of our environment.

The uniform policy requires all children between the ages of 3 and 5 to wear the specified attire at our daycare and preschool. This includes a specific color combination for our shirts and pants, as well as shoes that are non-marking.

Boys’ uniforms: White, light blue, or navy blue polo shirts paired with khaki or navy blue pants, and simple tennis shoes without black soles.

Girls’ uniforms: White, light blue, or navy blue polo shirts, and khaki or navy blue pants or skirts with shorts underneath, complemented by simple tennis shoes without black soles.

These uniforms can be purchased inexpensively at Old Navy, Target, Burlington and Costco just to name a few. Many of these places have them on sale during the summer time. We do not sell uniforms. However as students grow out of uniforms (or when they move on to Kindergarten), their parents often give us their used uniforms. Ms. Patty will put them out on display in our front office, usually toward the end of July. Parents are then welcome to take any of them, free of charge, if they fit their child.

Compliance to the uniform policy allows us to create a cohesive, distraction-free environment where every child can focus on their learning and development. It also instills a sense of discipline and responsibility in children from an early age, which are integral to their overall growth.
