Welcome to Young Scholars Academy, located in Draper, UT. We are proud to introduce Ms. Daniela Acuña, our Dance Instructor, who brings over 15 years of training and 3 years of teaching experience to our program. With expertise in multiple dance styles and a passion for creative movement, Ms. Daniela inspires students to develop confidence, expression, and joy through dance.

Ms. Daniela is dedicated to:
- Teaching hip hop, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and beginner ballet.
- Choreographing and directing student dance recitals to showcase talent and growth.
- Creating a bilingual, supportive learning environment where every child feels encouraged to succeed.

Ms. Daniela began her journey assisting other instructors, gaining valuable experience in working with children and cultivating a nurturing classroom environment. She has since advanced her teaching career with a focus on technique, performance, and creative expression. Her philosophy emphasizes patience, encouragement, and building each child’s confidence through movement.

Daniela has earned numerous high-ranking scholarships from nationwide dance conventions, highlighting her dedication and talent in the performing arts. Her Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish also allows her to connect with a diverse community of students and families.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
Beyond teaching, Ms. Daniela enjoys making crafts, going to the gym, shopping, taking advanced dance masterclasses, and paddleboarding. These hobbies reflect her energetic and creative spirit, which she brings to her classroom every day.
